The Pacific Northwest has been my home since birth, and I love it here. I am married to a wonderful woman, Jeanette, and have a daughter Christine, a son-in-law named Jeremy, and three perfect grandchildren: Lily, Annie, and Tommy. My wife and I also have a son, Brady, who is currently a student at BYU Idaho.
I grew up in Renton and graduated from Renton High School. A church mission at the age of nineteen took me to Japan for two years. My undergraduate degree is from BYU and my Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Washington. I opened my practice here in Kent in 1985.
Dentistry is my professional passion and I am dedicated to compassionate care and continuous growth in this exciting field. Many patients have become treasured friends, and caring for all of my patients makes each day a joy.
Outside of the office I have led a Boy Scout troop through my church for more than 20 years. Sharing my love for hiking, fishing, survival skills, adventuring, and personal development with the scouts is very fulfilling. My wife and I have also sung in the Rainier Chorale since 1997. We share a love of music and enjoy developing that with the great people in the chorale.
I also belong to a motorcycle “gang” (think of the movie “Wild Hogs”). We are life-long friends and together with our wives, we take at least one road trip per year. We’ve packed on a lot of miles and built stronger friendships while seeing this great country, mile by mile.
My other hobbies include photography, hiking, fly-fishing, mountaineering, and snowmobiling.
